The chardham itinerary usually follows an east to west direction. The Holy Himalayas up in the misty heights of the majestic Garhwal Himalayas that adorn the magnificent state of Uttaranchal, awaits a rejuvenating spiritual experience for the devout.

The tour would take you to the four majestic abodes of God, which are strategically located in India’s four directions – the east, south, west, and north. Each of these four spots makes a perfect square in the triangular land of India. These places also serve as the epicenter of all of India’s religious activities. The Chardham Tour is one of the foremost offerings of India travel. This tour is based on India’s core religion, Hinduism. The chardham tour packages would take you to these scared places, more particularly the Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

The pilgrimage would normally start from Yamunotri on the Himalayas. Then it will proceed to Gangotri towards Kedarnath and would end in Badrinath. Many devotees from the world over participate in the char dham of India. The holy journey commences during the summer, which is also the peak season for Indian travel. But more than spiritual healing, the mountainous views of the tour are the perfect setting for everyone who wants to experience a different type of relaxation. Tour Details

Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Meeting and greetings on arrival at Delhi’s international airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 – At Delhi
Morning after leisurely breakfast at the hotel proceed for full guide sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting - the Laxmi Narayan Temple, Drive past India Gate, Photo stop at President’s Palace, Qutab Minar, Himayun’s Tomb, Rajghat (cremation site of Mahatama Gandhi), Red Fort, walk thorough busy streets of Chandani Chowk and Jama Mosque. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03. ARRIVE RISHIKESH
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to reach Rishikesh in around 6 hours time enroute visiting Holy town of Haridwar. Check into the hotel on arrival at Rishikesh. Evening visit the Ganga Ghat’s to encounter evening Ghat life as well as special Aarti “The Prayer dedicated to Goddess Ganges” the town of ashrams and temples, Ghats and pilgrims, mountains and the holy Ganges. When global orange sun suspended, waits low amid the red/yellow streaked horizon, then all these combine to give this town a very special evening. The temple bells roar, priests enchant mantras. Immersed in sublimation stand the pilgrims. Cupped leaves, with saffron marigold petals and a small candle flame, flickering ride the current of water of wisdom. Suddenly the sky darkens, spreading a blanket of stillness. Everything stops, except the sound of current, which has just sunk the tiny flames of cupped leaves, few minutes back. Traditional Indian dinner at Chotiwala restaurant . Walk back along the river to hotel. Overnight hotel.

Day 04. RISHIKESH /MUSSOORIE / HANUMANCHATTI - DRIVE 8-9 HRS.
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Hanuman Chatti. Enroute stop at Mussoorie for a while. After lunch at Mussoorie drive to Hanumanchatti. The Entire drive is along the Yamuna river. Arrive Hanumanchatti and check into hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05. HANUMANCHATTI/ YAMNOTRI / HANUMANCHATTI - TREK / PONY 7-8 HRS.
Morning after an early breakfast drive half way to trek head and commence trek /pony to Yamnotri, the origin of river Yamuna. The entire trek is gradual ascent till we reach Yamnotri. Arrive and visit temple for Darshan & Puja. Explore the area and trek down half way till road head Drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06. HANUMANCHATTI / UTTARKASHI / GANGOTRI - DRIVE 8-9 HRS.
Early morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri. Arrive Gangotri and check into the hotel . Evening visit the temple for Arti and Darshan. Overnight hotel.

Day 07. GANGOTRI / RUDRAPRAYAG DRIVE; 7-8 HRS.
Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Enroute stop at Gangnani hot springs and visit Vishawanath temple enroute as well. Arrive Rudraprayag and check into the hotel for overnight stay. Evening visit the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini River. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08. RUDRAPRAYAG/ GAURIKUND /KEDARNATH. DRIVE 3 HRS. TREK/PONY 5-6 HRS.
Morning after breakfast trek to Kedarnath.The entire trek is gradual ascent till we reach Kedarnath. Arrive Kedarnath and check into the Hotel. Evening visit the Kedarnath temple for darshan. Overnight at the hotel / camp.

DAY 09. KEDARNATH / GAURIKUND / RUDRAPRAYAG - TREK 4-5 HRS / DRIVE:3HRS.
After morning puja trek down to Gaurikund. After lunch break and refreshing bath at Gaurikund hot springs we drive to Rudra Prayag. Arrive Rudraprayag and check into hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 10. RUDRAPRAYAG / BADRINATH - DRIVE 7-8 HRS.
Morning drive to Badrinath. The entire drive upto Joshimath is along the Alaknanda river. Stop at Joshimath for some time. Arrive Badrinath and check into hotel. Evening visit the Badrinath temple. Overnight hotel.

DAY 11. BADRINATH / MANA /BADRINATH / JOSHIMATH - DRIVE 4-5 HRS.
Morning excursion to Mana , the last village on Indian side on Indo Tibet border. Visit Bheem pul and darshan of Saraswati river. Drive back to Badrinath for lunch. Check out and drive to Joshimath. Check in to hotel. Rest of the time free to relax or take a Rope way to Auli, one of the finest alpine meadow and best ski slopes in India. Overnight at hotel at Joshimath.

DAY 12. JOSHIMATH /RISHIKESH. DRIVE - 9-10 HRS
Morning after an early breakfast at the hotel/ camp drive to Rishikesh. Brief stops on the way at Rudraprayag, Srinagar and Devprayag to explopre the area. Arrive Rishikesh and check into the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 13. Rishikesh / Delhi
Morning after leisurely breakfast at the hotel drive to Delhi and check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax or last minute shopping etc. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 14. Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport in order to board flight for onward destination.
