It is the abode of Goddess Durga or the Goddess of Power, and is the most popular in this part of India, Hanuman Mandir of Delhi, and this elegant temple stands on the south-eastern side of Ranmal Lake. People flock here in large numbers every day to take bath and worship in the temples built beside the river bank, Vindhyanchal Temple; this is one of the holiest shrines for Hindus.
The 24-hour chanting of the mantra 'Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram', which has been going on in the temple since August 1, 1964, has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Hanuman Mandir located on the Bada Kharak Singh Road (old Irwin Road) about 250m southwest of Connaught Circus, this temple is of little architectural importance.
Tour Details
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
Meeting on arrival at Delhi’s international airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 – At Delhi
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed for combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi to Haridwar (6 hrs drive)
Leave for Holy Ganges for snan and than proceed to visit Mansa Devi temple. You can opt to take cable car to visit the temple. Evening attend aarti at har ke pauri. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Haridwar to Rishikesh (1 hour drive) to
Early in the morning leave for Har ki Pauri again to aarti ceremony and Ganga Snan. Later check out from hotel and proceed to visit Neelkanth Mahadev temple, At Rishikesh visit temples, ashrams, Yoga centers and the famous Laxman Jhoola and Ram Jhoola suspension bridges in Rishikesh, made famous by the Beatles who visited here in the 1970's.
Day 05 – Rishikesh to Shimla
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Shimla and check into the hotel on arrival. Rest of the afternoon free to relax. Overnight at the hote.
Day 06 - At Shimla (free)
Full day tour to explore Shimla, Chail and Kufri and its mall on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 - Shimla to Chandigarh - 4 hour drive
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Rock Gardens and Rose Gardens. Rest of the time free to explore Chandigarh on your own. (Chandigarh is not a shopping place).
Day 08 - Chandigarh to Jwala ji
Morning after breakfast depart for Jwala ji enroute visit Darshan of
Naina Devi Temple ,Chintpurani Temple .
Arrive Jwala ji (around 1 and half hour) and check in at the hotel for overnight stay. You may choose to visit temple in the night if any night celebrations (bhajan / jagaran) is going on when you are there. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 - Jwala Ji to Brijeshwari Mata temple (Kangra) to Dharamsala
Morning leave for Ma Jwala ji temple for Darshan, return and proceed to visit Brijeshwar Devi temple at Kangra. After visiting the temple proceed to Chamuda Devi Temple and arrive Dharamsala by late afternoon of evening. Check in at the hotel on arrival for overnight stay.
Day 10 - At Dharamsala
Morning tour of Dharamsala. Afternoon explore Mcleodganj on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - Dharamsala to Chamba (6 hours)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Chamba. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple Complex and explore Chamba. You may opt to go shopping to buy handicrafts from Himachal
Day 12 - Chamba to Khajjira to Dalhousie (2 hours)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Dalhousie via visiting Khajjiar also know as mini Switzerland. Arrive Dalhousie and check in at the hotel. Later proceed to visit Dalhousie or enjoy walking around. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 - Dalhousie to Jammu (6 hours) –
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Jammu and visit Raghunath Temple, Museum and continue on to Katra (2 hours). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14 – At Katra – Mata Darshan
Early morning leave for Mata Darshan. Late evening return to Katra for overnight stay.
Day 15 - Katra to Amritsar (6 hours)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Amritsar and check in at the hotel on arrival. Afternoon free to relax from hectic last day. Evening leisurely visit Harmandir Sahib and stay there for some time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16 - Amritsar
Early morning visit Golden Temple once again. After breakfast tour of Amritsar including Jallianwala bagh, Durgiani temple. Later in the afternoon proceed to wagah border to witness closing ceremony of Indo Pak border. Overnight at Hotel at Amritsar
Day 17 - Amritsar to Kurukshetra to Delhi. (9 hours)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Delhi enroute visit Kurukshetra Brahm sarovar, Narkatari Temple, Nabhi Kamal and Gurudwara. Continue on to Delhi and check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 18 - Delhi to Pushkar Drive 8 hours.
Morning after an early breakfast proceed to Delhi by car in around 8 hours. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Brahma temple, holy Pushkar lake and the town. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19 - Puskar to Jaipur by car (2,5 hours) –
Morning after breakfast at the hotel proceed to Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur where you will visit City Palace and its museum, Jantar Mantar and walk around the old part of the city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20 - At Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort where you will enjoy an Elephant ride (yes, this is the fort with elephants). Afternoon free to enjoy the city or shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 21 – JAIPUR DRIVE TO AGRA (Drive time 5 hrs. approx.)
Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Agra enroute visiting FATEHPUR SIKRI : A fascinating ghost town, lies a little beyond Agra the deserted Red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. It was a veritable fairy tale city and its ruins are still in a pristine condition. Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone is the marble tomb of the Saint Salim Chisti, enclosed by delicately carved marble screens.
Arrive and check in at HOTEL. Later visit to Taj Mahal - visit to the world famous ‘Taj Mahal’ by ‘decorated tongas’. The inimitable poem in white marble, built over a period of 22 years by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD, which is a masterpiece of design and construction. It housed both the residential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters.

Day 22 – Agra to DELHI
After relaxed buffet breakfast at the hotel depart by car for Delhi in around 4 hours time. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Rest of the time free to relax or explore more of Delhi. Overnight at the hotel
Day 23 - Depart Delhi
Morning combined sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Later in the evening transfer to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
