Tour Details

Day 1- Arrival Delhi
Arrive at Delhi airport. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi to Kalka, by train
Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Transfer to the railways station to board the overnight train for Kalka.

Day 3 - Kalka to Shimla
In the morning change trains at Kalka to arrive at Shimla.

Day 4 - Shimla
Morning sightseeing tour of Shimla also includes a visit to Jakhoo Temple.

Day 5 - Shimla to Sarahan, 183 Kms/7 hrs
The Jeep adventure starts here. Drive to Sarahan, en route visiting Sun temple at Nirath and Padum Palace at Rampur. Evening visit to Bhimakali temple a rare combination of Buddhist and Hindu Temple.

Day 6 - Sarahan to Kalpa (2759m), 85 Kms/4 hrs
The morning drive to Kalpa located in backdrop of Kinner Kailash mountain range. En route visit Recongpeo, the headquarters of Kinnaur.

Day 07 - Kalpa to Tabo, 140 Km/8 hrs
Travel by surface from Kalpa to Tabo near the Tibetan border. En route visiting Nako village beautifully located
on banks of a small lake.

Day 8 - Tabo to Kaza, 80 Km/5 hrs  
Morning visit the 16th and 17th century paintings at Tabo Monastery, linked with growth of Buddhism in Tibet. En route visit Dhankar Monastery, the old capital of Spiti. Travel onwards to Kaza, one of the highest motorable villages of the world. In the evening visit Ki Monastery, which houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa
at Kibber the highest permanently inhabited village of the region.

Day 9 - Kaza to Keylong via Kunzum La, 190 Km/7-8 hrs
Morning drive to Keylong via Kunzum La Pass (4551 m) which provides beautiful views of CB ranges.

Day 10 - Keylong
In the morning visit Sahsur and Khardong Monastery at Keylong.

Day 11 - Keylong to Sarchu, 92 Km/4 hrs
Drive to Sarchu over Baralachala Pass (4800 m). Sarchu is the last point on the Himachal-Ladakh border that offers splendid views of snow-capped mountains. En route stop at Suraj Tal (sun lake).

Day 12 - Sarchu to Leh, 220 Km/ 8 hrs
Travel by surface from Sarchu to Leh over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). Tanglang La is the second highest motorable road in the world.

Day 13 to 14 - Leh
Sightseeing tour of Spituk and Phyang Monasteries, Leh town, Shey Palace, Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries.

Day 15 - Leh to Delhi, by air
Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 16 - Depart Delhi
Transfer to the airport to board your onward flight.
